Why cant | motor reverse

As a direct docking device with the equipment, the rotation direction of constant force motor is particularly important. It is stipulated in the product standard of the motor that, if it is not specifically stated, after the motor is connected in accordance with the positive solution phase sequence, the motor should be rotated in a clockwise direction when observed from the shaft extension end, thus ensuring the conformity of the equipment with the motor installation. However, for special requirements of a service fee, the motor will also be manufactured in a counterclockwise direction.

For constant force motor products, different direction of rotation will involve a problem, is the motor of the fan and motor rotation direction with matching relationship, especially for the high speed of the motor, if using directional demand of centrifugal fan, if the motor according to the direction of design, will lead to a dramatic increase in motor winding temperature rise, which harm the motor bearing system, namely, bearing grease degradation failure, resulting in lubrication failure of bearing damaged, serious when winding overheating and burning.

Therefore, for motors with rotation direction requirements, the manufacturer of constant-force motor should fully communicate with the user to avoid similar problems.

1 Why is the number of fan blades of the motor odd?

This is because odd-numbered blade combinations provide more performance advantages than even-numbered blade combinations. If the blades are designed with an even number of blades and arranged in a symmetrical way, it will not only make it difficult to adjust the balance of the fan itself, but also easily cause more resonance of the fan during high-speed rotation, which will lead to the failure of the blade to withstand the fatigue caused by resonance for a long time and eventually lead to blade fracture. Therefore, the design of axial flow fan is mostly asymmetrical odd blade design.

2 introduction to turbofan

Turbo fan, also known as centrifugal fan, commonly seen in the field of personal computer heat dissipation, is used to call small centrifugal fans turbo fans. The gas flow direction of the turbofan is perpendicular to the axis of rotation, while the gas flow direction of the common axial flow fan is parallel to the axis of rotation. Compared with the traditional cooling fan, the centrifugal fan can output more air volume in a smaller space and improve the cooling effect. However, the machining accuracy of centrifugal fan blades is higher than that of ordinary fans, and the noise is higher when the impeller has ash accumulation or running at high speed. With the decrease of CPU power consumption, THE CPU turbo fan is gradually replaced by the large diameter low-speed ordinary shaft flow quiet fan, but it is still often used in the high performance graphics card, especially in the public version of the graphics card radiator.

Rotating centrifugal fan consists of motor to drive the impeller and blade forcing the gas in the impeller rotation, the gas power, allow it to increase the momentum of the gas under the action of centrifugal force, the impeller thrown around, through the vortex type chassis can converts kinetic energy into pressure, when the gas discharge within the impeller, the pressure inside the impeller is lower than the pressure inside the duct, new gas under the action of pressure difference, suction impeller, the gas is continuous escape from the fan.

The turbo fan is usually installed on the small type printer or the smaller short version digital printing equipment. It is installed at the bottom of the substrate platform and ACTS as an air suction to fix the soft material so that it will not deform or shift during the printing process.
